What is your standard turnaround time?

Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours after you approve the artwork and confirm the order to print. The clock starts once art is approved — not when the order is placed.

Do you offer same-day or rush service?

How long do large or oversized jobs take?

Big runs, banners over 4×8 ft, signage, wraps, and custom fabrication take longer. We give you a firm timeline upfront when you order — no surprises.

How long does DTF (Direct-to-Film) take?

Gang sheets and single-design DTF orders typically press in 2–4 business days. Contact-for-quote orders (100+ shirts) are scheduled based on quantity and shirt sourcing.

When does the turnaround clock start?

The moment you approve the digital proof and confirm print. Any change to the file resets the clock — we won't press until the file you approved is the file that prints.

What if I miss the deadline for my event?

Tell us the in-hand date when you order. If we can't hit it, we'll say so before you pay. We won't take a job we can't deliver on time.

Where are your pickup locations?

Two spots on either side of the river: Marrero at 4657 Westbank Expressway (Mon–Fri 8 AM – 6 PM) and Laplace at 948 Cambridge Dr. #104 (Mon–Fri 9 AM – 4 PM).

What are your pickup hours?

Pickup is 11 AM – 5 PM daily on every order unless we've arranged a different time with you. Marrero and Laplace hours above cover the full lobby, but same-day pickups are handled during that 11–5 window.

Is Laplace pickup available same-day?

No — Laplace pickup is always next day. Everything prints in Marrero and gets shuttled over to Laplace overnight. If you need same-day, choose Marrero at checkout.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes. FREE local delivery on orders over $100 anywhere on the Westbank, Metairie, Kenner, and River Parishes. Smaller orders can be delivered for a small fee — just ask when you order.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We ship via FedEx and UPS to all 50 states. Shipping is quoted with your order based on weight and destination — you'll see the number before you pay.

What if no one is home for delivery?

We'll coordinate a drop location with you before we leave the shop — porch, side door, mailbox, or a reschedule. Delivery signatures are optional and can be requested on order confirmation.

What file formats do you accept?

PDF is strongly preferred at 300 DPI with 0.125" bleed. We also accept high-resolution JPG, PNG, WEBP, AI, EPS, and PSD. If you're unsure, upload what you have — we'll tell you if it needs work before we print.

What resolution should my artwork be?

300 DPI at final print size for anything the customer holds (cards, flyers, brochures). 150 DPI is fine for banners and signs viewed from a distance. Low-res files are the #1 reason a job looks bad — we'll flag it before pressing.

Do I need to include bleed?

Yes — 0.125" (1/8 inch) bleed on any artwork with color or images going to the edge, plus a 0.125" safe zone inside the trim for text. If you don't know how to add bleed, send us the file and we'll adjust it (small setup fee may apply).

What color mode should I use?

CMYK for anything we print on paper, vinyl, or fabric. RGB files get converted and colors can shift — most noticeable on bright blues and oranges. For screen mockups only, RGB is fine.

Can you design my artwork from scratch?

Yes. Our in-house team can design flyers, business cards, banners, logos, and full brand kits. Design is billed separately based on scope — request a design quote from the Order form.

Can you fix or improve my existing art?

Yes. Background removal, color correction, resizing, adding bleed, converting to vector — we can do it. Simple fixes are often included; larger cleanups are quoted upfront.

How do I upload my artwork?

Use the Upload button on the Order Now form, or email dtfprints@gmail.com (DTF) or hello@dba2biz.com (everything else). Max 20 MB per file — for bigger files, send a Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer link.

Will I see a proof before you print?

Yes. Every custom job gets a digital proof for you to approve. Nothing prints without your written approval — we email the PDF and wait for your reply.

How do I get a price quote?

Fill out the Order form with your specs — you'll see a live total for standard products (business cards, flyers, banners, yard signs, DTF, etc.). Custom jobs get a written quote back within one business day.

How do I pay for my order?

Staff sends a Square invoice or Printavo link after we review your order and confirm specs. Pay online with a card. We do not run checkout on the website — every invoice is reviewed by a human first so you're never charged for a job we can't deliver.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes — 50% deposit on custom jobs, large-format signs, and orders over $500. Balance is due before pickup or delivery. Small standard jobs (cards, flyers under $500) are paid in full upfront.

Do you offer a discount for online orders?

Yes — 5% off when you order through the website instead of walking in. The discount is applied to your invoice automatically and shows on your total.

Do members get an additional discount?

Members save 15% on every printing order and get mailbox perks. The 15% member discount does NOT stack with the 5% online discount — you get whichever is larger (the 15% member rate).

Is there a minimum order?

No hard minimum on most products. DTF Press Service has a 12-shirt minimum. Business cards start at 100. Everything else — order one flyer if you want, we'll print it.

Are your prices tax-inclusive?

No — Louisiana state and parish sales tax is added at invoice. Tax-exempt organizations (nonprofits, churches, schools) can send their exemption certificate to skip sales tax.

Do you price-match other local printers?

We'll look at written quotes from other Louisiana print shops on identical specs. We won't match online-only mail-order pricing — our turnaround, proofing, and local pickup aren't the same product.

Business cards, flyers, brochures, rack cards, postcards, banners (vinyl, mesh, fabric), yard signs, foam board, posters, booklets, programs, DTF transfers, apparel, event materials, and more. If it's printable, ask.

Is double-sided printing available?

Double-sided is standard on business cards, flyers, brochures, and rack cards. On mockup cutouts, double-sided is a $15 add-on available on Fat Head cutouts only. Banners, yard signs, posters, and foam board are single-sided.

Do you print on apparel?

Yes — DTF transfers press onto shirts, hoodies, bags, and hats. You can bring your own blanks or we can source shirts for you. 12-shirt minimum on the DTF Press Service.
